Cucumber Banana & Ginger Green Smoothie

I hate the thought of wasting food, so when I realized this cucumber was on its way out I decided to make it a part of this afternoons green smoothie. That and, still retaining a bit of water due to PMS, there's nothing like a little cucumber to cleanse your system, helping to flush out toxins + excess water you may be holding on to. And...I just love cucumber. :) 
I used half of a large cucumber & will toss the the rest into a salad later today. 
 

Cucumber Banana & Ginger Green Smoothie 

 - Organic Girl: Spinach & Arugala Blend, 2 cups
 - 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 large cucumber, washed, peeled & cut into chunks
- Fresh Ginger, about 1 in. chunk
- Couple dashes of cinnamon
- Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, 1/4 cup (just to add a little texture & creaminess)
- Little bit of water & ice
