End of Week Catch Up...

Good Friday Evening Dolls! Hope the new year is off to an amazing start for you all! This is my current situation as I write this blog post... just enjoying my Friday night in & catching up with you.

Unwinding after a long, but great day and just got in from a kick ass Friday night workout.  Meiomi Pinot Noir + Veggies -- Raw Beets, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Hard Boiled Egg, Avocado & Feta Cheese with some Olive Oil & Pepper.

Tonight's Gym Sesh looked like this...

Freeeeeeezing cold I warmed up (all layered up) with some jump rope for a good 5 minutes. Mix of High Knees, Butt Kickers, and Jumping Jack legs. Warmed me up in no time.

- Cybex Arc Trainer: 20 minutes (intervals) Incline ranging between 4-14 and resistance between 20-35.

Strength Circuit: - Underhand Pulldowns: 20 x 3
- BB Close Grip Presses: 20 x 3
- Superman Reverse Flys (laying on stomach on bench - lift legs/thighs & chest off the bench) 20 x 3
- Burpee + Push Up: 10 x 3

- StairMaster: 15 minutes: Single & Double Step

Super busy day of work that had me out of the house all day. Ate at D&D not once, but twice...just one of those on-the-go days.

Spirulina | Green Superfood Powder | Banana | Frozen Blueberries
| 2 Tbsp Almond Butter | Coconut Milk + Water

Dried Apricots & Prunes, Goji Berries + Mulberry Berries

Lemon + Cucumber Water. 
Kept refilling and sipped on this cleansing water throughout the day. Boiled water, let water cool to room temp before putting in Mason Jar & juiced 1 organic lemon.

Dean & Deluca Lunch:
Spinach Salad, ChickPea + Eggplant Salad, Roasted Golden Beets

D&D Round 2:
Chicken Kabob + Broccolini

So, now that your all caught up to speed on today, lets rewind a couple days to Wednesday (New Years Day)...Had the most relaxing day. Just reflecting on 2013, finding gratitude for such an amazing year and dreaming about all the possibilities that 2014 may hold.

Had a beautiful dinner with my parents to cheers to the New Year.

Thursday

Just like today, another on-the-go kinda day. Hours of training sessions + a 4pm meeting downtown at 7th Street Public Market where I had a coffee and some Beet/Cabbage/Ginger/Carrot/Apple juice concoction. I was starving the majority of the day until we made our way to Bricktops after the meeting for some real food. Wrapped up the day with a slow flow yoga class with my favorite, Amani, at Enlighten Yoga. Perfect way to end a hectic day. Afterwards, we grabbed a bite while catching up at Ilios Noche.

Breakfast was a simple Green Smoothie

A little too relishy & sweet for me. Ate one. I did, though, slowly but surely eat all 3 pieces of bacon. So good!

(I did not touch that high sodium, bloating, GMO, soy sauce.  YUCK!!)
