Protein Yogurt Bowl

G'Morning, loves! 
So! when I'm either in a hurry or just don't feel like breaking out (and cleaning) the blender to make a messy, fruit-all-over-the-counter smoothie bowl, I turn to my Protein Yogurt Bowl creation!

This is basically what it sounds like...I simply mix together my protein powder with my [goat] yogurt + I add a splash of almond milk to make it extra smooth & creamy.
You guys, this combo of vanilla protein + yogurt + almond milk is so yummy! Just like my smoothie bowls, I feel like I'm eating dessert for breakfast. (Are we seeing a theme here?! haha) Smoothie bowls taste like ice cream and this yogurt bowl tastes like a scrumptious custard or pudding. I LOVE it!!! 

BASE
1 cup/serving of goat yogurt (or yogurt of your choice)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
cinnamon. a few shakes
splash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or milk of your choice)

TOPPINGS
banana slices
strawberry
blueberries
cacao nibs

HOW TO
YOGURT. add about half of your yogurt to a bowl
PROTEIN + CINNAMON. add your scoop of protein powder + cinnamon to the bowl
 MORE YOGURT. the rest of your yogurt on top of the powder (this just helps with the mixing)
GIVE IT A GOOD MIX. grab a spoon stir your protein & yogurt together until its nice & smooth
MILK. add milk to your desired consistency and stir again. 
TRANSFER. your protein yogurt mixture to a separate bowl
TOPPINGS. add toppings listed above or whatever fruits & superfoods you love and/or have handy in the house!

I transfer my yogurt mixture to another bowl because I like for everything to look pretty. But you can totally leave it in the same bowl if you'd rather not use 2 bowls! 

I absolutely love this breakfast! Its ready to eat in minutes and loaded with protein, fiber & antioxidants. All yogurts are different as far as grams of protein per serving go... The goat yogurt I use only has 7g per cup/serving which isn't very much. Depending on activity level, every BODY needs more/less protein per serving/day. Adding a scoop of protein powder is closer to the amount of protein I need, makes me feel strong, keeps me lean & helps me push thru workouts + recover faster.
