Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Bowl

Hello my fellow pumpkin lovers of the world! I hope everyone is having a Happy Fall, soaking up all the colors, smells, flavors & feels of the season! If I were a season, I'd absolutely be fall....I simply adore it! Its just one of those things in life that give me that indescribably happy feeling inside. How about you...if you were a season, what would you be?

Naturally, pumpkin is one of those fall feels. It's a wonder, why do pumpkins make us so happy!? All I know is they do. Especially these sweet little striped ones you see here - are they not the cutest!? 

I know pumpkin isn't for everyone - its one of those things where you either love it, or you hate it. Hopefully, if you've found your way here, you love it! :) Its funny how pumpkin is only enjoyed during this time of year, because its actually something that should be enjoyed all year long. Pumpkin is loaded with many health benefits such as healthy fats & fiber as well as tons of vitamins - specifically Beta-Carotene or Vitamin A - which plays a big role in eye health & gives your skin that gorgeous, healthy glow from within! Eat Up, loves!

PUMPKIN SPICE SMOOTHIE BOWL

BASE
trader joes organic pumpkin puree. 1/2 cup
1.5 frozen bananas
pure vanilla extract. 1 teaspoon
trader joes pumpkin pie spice. 1/2 teaspoon
unsweetened vanilla almond milk. 6 oz. (I use Califia Farms)
plant based vanilla protein. 1 scoop (optional)

TOPPINGS
1/2 banana
sprinkle of bee pollen
trader joe's superseed & ancient grain blend. 2 tablespoons

This bowl of pumpkin goodness is loaded with healthy fats, fiber, a double dose of potassium (pumpkin + banana) & loads of plant-based protein. Hope you enjoy as much as I do!
