Saturday Smoothie Bowl | 4.25.15

Happy Saturday Loves. After an incredibly gorgeous & sunny week the rain is back for the weekend and I'm kinda loving it this morning. I'm beyond happy to have my babe home -- its our first Saturday morning together in over a month so just being able to wake up together, hang out in the kitchen, drinking coffee, listening to music and talking is my happiness. :) 
I made us some super yummy green smoothie bowls for brek and as always, they were amazing! lol 

Saturday Smoothie Bowl 

Green Smoothie Base:
- 1 cup goat yogurt or yogurt of your choice
- 2 handfuls, organic baby spinach
- 2 frozen bananas
- 3 tablespoons chia seeds 

Fruit & Superfood Toppings:
- raw pepitas
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
- strawberries
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs

- Serves 2 -

I added our chia seeds to each bowl after I poured the green smoothie base into each bowl. Gave everything a good mix & popped the bowls in the freezer for about 10 minutes while I sliced the strawberries & got out all our yummy toppings! 

After I snapped the photos I topped our bowls off with a giant gob of almond butter! #YUM
