Sunday Sweat / 8.3.14

Happy Sunday dolls.
Hoping everyone is enjoying the weekend!

Popping in to share some healthy goodness + a little SweatSpiration to get you moving on this beautiful Sunday! This was actually from Friday but I've had a super busy weekend and I'm just now able to sit down and share with you all.

I cooked up 1 cup of millet (dry) earlier in the week and I've been slowly making my way thru the pot all week - eating small amounts of millet for breakfast or any time of day, really.

Millet Porridge


What's in the bowl:
- 1 cup, millet
-  1/2 cup, Almond Milk
- 1 tspn, organic coconut oil
- a few dashes of cinnamon + nutmeg
- 1 banana, 1/2 cup blueberries & goji's

I portioned out 1 cup of precooked millet + 1/2 a cup of almond milk in a pot & added my coconut oil, cinnamon & nutmeg.
Topped off with whatever fruit you like or have handy.



- Dynamic Warm Ups: Jumping Jacks, Butt Kickers, High Knees
- Moved thru a series of glute & hamstring activation exercises

- Jumping Jack + Shoulder Press: 1 minute x 3
- Cable Flys: 20 x 3
- Triceps, V-Bar Pushdowns: 20 x 3
- Reverse Flys (on inline bench) 15 x 3

- 5 minutes: walk @ 4.0
- 20 minutes: 1 min sprint/1 min recover
- 5 minutes: walk @ 4.0
