Hello & Happy April, loves! Hoping the month of March was good to you - full of love, health & happiness! I am so happy Spring is here and looking forward to the entire Season & all the wonderful things it brings!
So lets get caught up on all the things I've been using & loving over the last month. March turned out to be a month of new hair & beauty products. Do you have those times where you just seem to run out of everything all at once!? Well that was the story of my life this month. I ran out of my Dermalogica Cleanser that I have been using & so devoted to for years and decided it was time to switch it up because my skin has been looking a little dull as of late. My trusty hair dryer finally pooped out on me. I pulled it out one day to dry my hair, it started making the craziest noise + a weird smell & I'm just thankful my hair didn't catch on fire. Needless to say, I went with the curls that day. lol I also decided to switch up my Shampoo & Conditioner and my locks couldn't be happier about it! So you see the pattern...here's my March Loves & I hope you love them, too! xx
Swapping out my Dermalogica Cleanser for this Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Cleanser has been a wonderful & much needed change for my skin! Its super gentle on my sensitive skin & thoroughly cleanses my face without drying. Also loving this fabulous & refreshing Caudalie Grape Water Toner. Caudalie is one of my fave skin care brands. Its French, Organic & Plant Based... 'nuff said! :) haha Weleda, is a lovely organic skin care brand that is super gentle & hydrating to your skin. Their Almond Soothing Facial Lotion is one that I keep on rotation. Fragrance-free & hypoallergenic, this is perfect if you have sensitive skin like I do.
CLEAR Scalp & Hair. I've used this brand in the past & loved it and have gone back to it. Do you change your shampoo & conditioner? Its so good for reviving your locks! I've also gone back to this ahhhhmazing Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment. This serum makes your hair smell like you want to eat it & feel so silky, smooth. I rub a bit on my ends when drying/straightening my hair & when I leave it curly, I add a bit more all over to help tame the curls & fight frizz!
So when my hairdryer pooped out on me a few weeks ago, I decided to buy the exact same one (its been so good to me) only, the compact size. I travel so often & ALWAYS bring my own dryer with me (you just never know what your gonna get in a hotel room) and I just love this Salon Shine Compact Dryer from John Freida!
I haven't shared anything on the blog about my favorite scents yet but I'm crazy for them & this Dolce & Gabanna Pour Femme has been a fave of mine for nearly 2 years now. My mom got me the set for Christmas a couple years ago and it's no doubt, one of my every day loves. My boyfriend adores the scent, too and always loves when I wear it. Its a sexy, feminine scent without being too heavy.
Foreign Films & Independent Movies
So after I give this list, you might wonder if I've been doing anything besides watching movies over here!? haha I literally do not watch TV, like ever. But over the last 3 weeks, I've been perusing Netflix & found some really fantastic independent films.
Life Happens. Amazing movie. I'd watch it again (and again) This movie brought back the Girl Crush I once had on Kate Bosworth circa 2002 / the movie Blue Crush. (I wanted to be her! lol ) Any way, she plays a badass and I found myself wanting to be her, again. Watch it. ;)
Last Night. Great Indie film starring Kiera Knightly & Eva Mendez. So good.
I Don't Know How She Does It. Mommy's & SJP fans, you will love this movie. And even if your not a mommy, you'll still love it. More, multi-tasking, girl power in this flick!
Renoir. the most beautiful French Film about the life of French artist, Renoir. Even if you, for some reason, don't actually enjoy the movie itself, if your anything like me, you'll be entranced by the gorgeous setting of the French Countryside.
A Little Bit of Heaven. Kate Hudson, 'nuff said.
Do you guys have any recent finds fab finds? Or products that you just can't live without!? Do Share!! :)
