This Vanilla Protein Iced Coffee has been a new morning favorite of mine!
After I have my regular cup of coffee, I've been turning my second cup into this glass of iced deliciousness! A few minutes before I'm ready to make my iced coffee, I simply pour a cuppa from my French Press to set aside & cool off a bit. This is super easy to throw together ... here is what I use / my simple little method:
Coffee. 1 cup / 8oz.
Garden of Life Organic Raw Vanilla Protein. 1 scoop
Cinnamon. a couple dashes
Ice. Small handful
Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk. 1/2 cup
Step 1. Coffee + scoop of protein powder + cinnamon goes in the blender. Secure the lid, and pulse for about 5-10 seconds to make sure the powder blends up nice & smoothly..
Step 2. Pour your coffee/protein blend into a glass + add ice
Step 3. Pour 1/2 cup AM on top of coffee & ice, give a little stir & voilà!
Health Boost: Totally optional here, I sometimes like to add a scoop of Maca Powder to mine for an extra health & energy boost! :)
This is a great way to enjoy your coffee + get in that extra bit of much needed protein to help build lean muscle & burn body fat! Also, great for those mornings when you need to get out the door in a hurry. Grab an apple or banana to eat afterwards & you'll be full & energized well into your morning! xx
