Happy Halloweenie everyone! Hope you all had a safe & fun day/night! I had THE perfect night...drove up to my sisters house to surprise my niece & nephew -- they had NO idea I was coming, and went trick-or-treating with them. So much fun. My little nephew turned 7 years old (I can't believe this!) on Tuesday so I especially wanted to go up and spend some quality time with him. My little guy was Dark Vader and my niece was Bat Girl. Too freaking cute - I can't handle it! I was totally unprepared this year and had no costume. But honestly, had zero plans to dress up any way. I thought I would at least be able to find some cat ears or something last minute but definitely missed the boat on that one! Found this cute little Trick or Treat shirt in the kids section at Target and threw it on with this green mask & some bright pinkish lips! I ate way TOO much chocolate and don't care a bit. I'm thinking my body knew it was Halloween because I've been craving chocolate something awful all week!! Sometimes you just gotta give into your cravings...of course in moderation, no need to get crazy ;) but it all balances out in the end. Listen to your body, it will tell you what it needs.
I was slightly hungover today. Had a fun business dinner, celebrating a deal with a great group last night and we all had a great time. I knew I had an easy day of work today as well as my rest day so I had a couple more glasses of wine than I normally would. Today was a much needed day of rest... my body is so sore and achy even, from all my workouts this week. Will definitely be hitting the foam roller tomorrow before I get my workout in.
Ate this around 4ish and was stuffed. Halloween Chocolate was for dinner. My stomach was a bit off all day from the wine last night and it definitely effected my appetite today. Again, listen to your body. Some days, I'm starving and eat every 3 hours like clockwork. Others, not so much. It all depends on what I have going on...workouts, food, time of month/hormones, etc...
