Happy Monday, loves!! Who’s looking forward to a super short work week + Thanksgiving Day & weekend!? This girl!! 🙋🏻 Adam fly’s home from New Orleans to spend the holiday weekend here with me and our families! To say I’m excited to have him home is an understatement. If you’ve been reading my most recent posts, you know that Adam left end of August to go shoot a TV Show in New Orleans. I’ve visited him in Nola 3x since he’s been gone, but there really is nothing like being home together. You know what they say, “home is where the heart is” ❤️ I couldn’t agree more.

I don’t know about you guys, but when it comes to dressing for Thanksgiving…I’m all about comfort. I love to look cute & put-together, of course, but comfy & cozy is a must. We keep Thanksgiving pretty casual in our families + the weekend always involves driving back and forth to Raleigh to see Adam’s family. For the drive, you’ll usually catch me in a pair of leggings. {LOL}

I’m pretty sure the holiday weekend involves a little (or lot) of travel for most, so wherever this holiday weekend takes you, here’s a little bit of outfit inspiration for your Thanksgiving Weekend!

my go-to fall uniform – jeans, boots + snuggly sweater – just so happens to be my first pick for a casual, chic & comfy Thanksgiving OOTD! Some of my favorite sweaters for this time of year come in cozy, autumnal colors like creamy whites, mustard, or a classic, fair isle sweater. Pull on one of your favorite pair of denim + ankle or OTK Boots and your out the door in 1, 2, 3!

There’s nothing easier than throwing on a dress and heading out the door! Slip on a pair of ankle or OTK Boots and your ready to go in a flash. I’ve picked a few not-so-snug sweater dresses to keep you chic & cozy while getting your Turkey Day fill!

Lets be honest, there’s nothing better than wearing a stretchy pair of leggings…especially when you know your about to consume a big meal! I think we all agree that Athleisure is equally as cute as street wear these days! I’m absolutely loving the look of leggings + layers on top of layers – long sleeves, scarves, sweater, puffer vest or jacket – with a cute pair of ankle or duck boots like these Sperry Saltwater Wedge Booties for F/W. One of my favorite pair of leggings to mix with everyday-wear is the Wunder Under Tight from lululemon – they are just a solid pair of tights!
