This, in my opinion, could not be more true. How do you spend your Sunday’s?
Do you workout or your a super lazy bump that barely leaves the house/couch? Do you eat junk all day because its “Sunday” and ya know, you so deserve to eat that pizza & ice cream?? Do you drink all day celebrating Sunday Funday? Or are you productive setting yourself up for success for the coming week?
In the fitness world, pertaining to nutrition, there is something called The Sunday Ritual. Whatever you like to call it, its just simply planning ahead. One of my favorite quotes, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!”
A few things I like to do on Sunday’s to make life a little easier for the coming week…
So I always keep it real with you guys…last Sunday I decided to have myself a little Sunday Funday. Ya know…brunch & bottomless mimosas. We even took our little party over to Selwyn Pub to keep the fun going. While I had a great time in the moment, let me tell you…Monday completely sucked!! I was definitely paying for my Sunday shenanigans. With that being said, life is about balance. I’m not perfect, no one is and you need to enjoy life but 9 times outta 10, my Sunday’s are filled with being active (yoga, gym, walks outside…)grocery shopping to restock on all my goodies & prepping food for the week. I value feeling good, energetic, feeling mentally clear & focused, working out & just getting shit done way too much to ruin it by drinking every Sunday. So what are you going to do on this Sunday? 😉
