Sunday Ritual
Happy Sunday, loves.
I came across this simple yet meaningful proverb last night and wanted to share it with you all…
A Sunday Well Spent Brings a Week of Content
This, in my opinion, could not be more true.
How do you spend your Sunday’s?
Do you workout or are you super lazy? Do you eat junk all day because its “Sunday” and ya know, you so deserve to eat that pizza & ice cream?? Do you drink all day celebrating Sunday Funday? Or are you productive setting yourself up for success for the coming week?
In the fitness world, pertaining to nutrition, in particular, there is something called The Sunday Ritual. Whatever you like to call it, its simply planning ahead. One of my favorite quotes, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.”
That being said, I wanted to share a few things I like to do on Sunday’s to set myself up for a successful & productive week ahead.

When it comes to my health & fitness routine, I have always followed the 80/20 rule. Some weeks may look “better” than others, but sticking to this balance feel good to me. Over the last several years, I have naturally moved into more intuitive eating and movement vs. when I was younger, I pushed myself in workouts that didn’t always feel the best in my body and ate “the way I was supposed to”, meaning, eat immediately after a workout or eat every 3-4 hours. Sometimes I’m not hungry as soon as I finish a workout or every 3 hours. I eat when I feel like eating. My appetite changes so much throughout the month depending on hormones, workouts, what I ate the day before, etc…they key is to always listen to your body.
If you’re wanting to make lasting change in your life, my advice will always be to start small. Small changes, implemented on a daily, weekly basis, will eventually turn in to long term changes, that turn into natural habits that turn into a lifestyle.
Health is the Greatest Wealth. xx
