If you ever did meet a fan of those pull-at-your-heart-strings, make-you-smile/laugh/cry all at the same time, romantic comedies, it would be this girl over here. This totally random post came about tonight, as I was trying to find a movie to watch.
Long time readers know that my love is & has been gone for the last 2 months (2 more to go) working on a film in RVA which means lots of nights in on my own when the girls aren’t free or I’m not spending time with my family.
Adam & I don’t have TV… bc, well, we don’t watch TV. We have Apple TV, on which we stream music & extreme sports on RedBull TV (surfing & snowboarding is amazeballs!!!) , watch episodes of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown (so good) and/or purchase a (very) random series that we happen to get into. Other than that…we aren’t big TV watchers.
Which leads me to this post…I was browsing iTunes movie library and naturally, I went to the “Romance” category. I got completely sucked into the trailers of some of my favorite feel-good flicks deciding on which one I wanted to watch just to have some background noise on other than music while editing some photos for a post I’m working on. And so this list was born….and as a result, I stopped doing everything else I set out to do. lol
The Proposal
Its Complicated
Somethings Gotta Give

I’m sure most of these movies aren’t anything new to most, but I adore each & everyone of these titles above & its just fun to have them all jotted down in one place in case you’ve forgotten any oldies but goodies.
To say I’m a hopeless romantic would be an understatement, and these movies speak to that sentiment. All of these films have made me simply smile to myself, laugh til my stomach hurts or cry because its related to something that I may have been going thru at the time. Its amazing how movies have the power to transport you to…anywhere, really and that’s why I just love the magic of movies so much. I’ve watched most of these several times and I’m pretty positive I will watch them many more! Pretty sure I’m leaving some out, but I’ll update the list as they come to me! xx
