
This has got to be one of my absolute favorite smoothie combo’s, containing three of my favorite spices – cinnamon, ginger & turmeric – which all work to naturally fight inflammation in the body among other things! Cinnamon is a natural metabolism booster & energizing herb, ginger is known to help calm post workout muscle soreness & turmeric is one of nature’s most powerful spices to ease inflammation in those joints, muscles & soft tissues that do so much for us!
Anti-Inflammatory Power Green Smoothie
power greens mix. 2 giant handfuls
(I used Earth Fare power greens in this smoothie)
frozen bananas. 2
organic frozen mango chunks. 1 cup
organic turmeric. 1/4 teaspoon
cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon
organic ginger root. about 1 inch chunk
(I scrape the skin off, although they say you can leave it on when using organic)
unsweetened vanilla almond milk. 1 cup
Blend & Enjoy!
Add these incredible spices to as many foods & drinks as you can. The trick is to consistently keep these health & wellness boosters in your body to really reap the benefits. I’m always sprinkling cinnamon in my coffee or tea + adding turmeric & ginger to soups & smoothies whenever I can (and where it tastes good! lol) I’m currently using these two brands of cinnamon & turmeric. xx

Do you really mean a cup of turmeric
the recipe says 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric. definitely not a cup! 🙂
