Hello & Happy October, loves! So cliche, I know…but I seriously cannot believe its already October and how is there just 2 months left in 2016!? Where has this year gone!?
So! Monday was my birthday…Hello, 33! Wee….
Adam & I scooted up the mountain to celebrate my birthday weekend in one of our favorite places, Asheville! 🙂 I think we are slowly making our way thru all the hotels Asheville has to offer. LOL (P.S. More are on their way!) For the big birthday weekend, we stayed at the Inn on Biltmore Estate.
Funny fact, after all these years living in NC and the gazillions of trips up to Asheville, I’ve never been to The Biltmore Estate! Adam didn’t even know this! We’ve already decided we’re going to do the famous tour of the house during the Christmas Season!
While Adam and I tend to gravitate towards modern, boutique hotels, we settled in to enjoy the old school elegance, luxury & Southern Charm that the beautiful Inn on Biltmore Estate has to offer. The 8,000-acre estate is tucked into the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, comprising Antler Hill Village which consists of The Inn, Village Hotel & Cottage on Biltmore Estate along with shopping, several dining options, and of course, the winery, which come to find out, is America’s most visited winery! Who knew!?
Thanks for stopping in! Hope everyone is having a wonderful week! xx
Much Love,
We arrived in Asheville, checked into The Inn, dropped our things in our room and then headed downstairs for a little vino + a lite bite to hold us over till dinner. Afterwards, we took a stroll to check out the Antler Hill Village and see the gorgeous grounds surrounding the Inn.

after walking about for an hour or so, we headed back to our room to kick up our legs, shower and head out to dinner at our favorite spot, The Bull & Beggar.
After dinner we headed over to MG Road, a super fun spot that our friend owns! We met up with our friends here, had way too much fun & totally paid for it come Sunday morning! haha
How fun are all of these lights!? If your ever in Asheville, you need to go here!
After a bit of sleeping in, we woke up to an absolutely stunning Sunday morning. We grabbed some breakfast downstairs. You can choose to order off the menu or go with the breakfast buffet. We went with the menu and kept things pretty light aside from that side of bacon, oops. Yogurt & granola for Adam. Egg whites + a so delicious Peanut Butter Smoothie for me.
After breakfast, we gathered our things and headed out to the pool to soak up some Vitamin D. The pool was so peaceful, surrounded by the gardens and the Blue Ridge Mountains.
I loved this tree!
one last stop…Dripolator! We stopped on our way up and basically stop at this super cute coffeehouse every time drive up to AVL. This is the cutest coffee shop in Black Mountain. I was so happy to see Matcha on the menu – I love that more & more places are doing matcha lattes!
(Totally photobombed by the girl in the window. lol)
