Let’s hop into this post, because I have so many things to talk about with this outfit! I actually just threw this together to go show property one day and absolutely love it!
BLACK DENIM. I recently bought these FRAME Black Denim at Nordstrom and I have been wearing them like 3x a week! They have the perfect amount of stretch and fit like a glove, you guys! They are perfect to dress up or dress down-ish like I did here with this casual chic #ootd. These are definitely a splurge, but totally worth it, in my opinion. A great pair of denim are always worth the investment because you get so much wear out of them!
MOUNTAIN PUFFER VEST. I found this puffer vest while perusing the sale section at J.Crew a couple weeks ago and fell in love with this puffer. It has the cutest gold details – front zipper, buttons on the pockets + little zipper at the bottom on each side – I’m such a sucker for the little details. DENIM SHIRT. My denim shirt is from Ralph Lauren. I found it in Macy’s in NYC about 4 years ago and honestly, at this point, I don’t feel the need to ever buy another jean shirt. It literally gets better year after year. I was on the hunt for one FOREVER and this was the one I had been waiting for! {LOL} I found this jean shirt in ‘vintage indigo’ that looks almost identical to mine, just a slightly darker wash.
LEOPARD PRINT CLUTCH. I shared my Clare V. Leopard Clutch in this post all about leopard print . I just love this little pop of leopard, upping the chic factor for this outfit! I’ll link a few other, more budget-friendly options below if your on the hunt for a leopard clutch/bag of your own.
BLACK BOOTIES. My ankle booties are Sam Edelman from last year and I still love ’em and wear ’em all the time. I have the same exact pair in brown, too! I bought a new pair of black booties earlier in the season and actually still wear these and barely wear the other ones. Every girl needs a go-to pair of black booties in her closet! I’ve linked several cute pairs at various price points to wear on repeat below!

Invest in high quality, style stapes that are versatile and you get a lot of wear out of – denim & shoes – are two on the top of my list!
Stalk the sales at your favorite stores/brands to snag deals on your basics like tees, tanks, long sleeves, and such. Almost everything I buy, with the exception of items like I mentioned above, are on sale. there’s just no need to pay full price for these items.
