As if Madewell doesn’t already carry enough ridiculously hard-to-resist-clothing, they have to go and slap a whit of French slang onto an utterly soft, creme & navy sweater. Obsessed with all-things French, I just had to say Oui, to this sweater. I mean, it was on sale.
CLT has been having a fairly rainy summer this year + unusually cooler temps. With that being said, I tend to dress for the weather, so, as soon as it gets even the slightest bit rainy and/or cool, my first inclination is to throw on something soft & cozy. This sweater is just the perfect weight for days like this.
Given the off-duty-vibes of the day & outfit, I thought it appropriate to do as the French do and simply enjoy life, the afternoon & naturally, some really, really good coffee. C’est la Vie… :)

So I was wanting a little sweet treat to go along with my latte (but nothing too crazy) and spotted this adorable nugget of satisfying, yet healthy goodness.
Pretty neat tidbit, as I searched to learn more about these yummy brüks bars…I discovered that they are handmade right here in CLT. How awesome! You all know by now that I am not an advocate of most bars on the market today, however, brüks bars get the LS stamp of approval as they are 100% allergy-friendly and free of gluten, dairy, soy & egg-free!
As most of my outfits do, this little getup can easily take you from day to night…
Flats/loafers during the day or slip your toes into a a pair of heels to chic-it-up a bit for night.
