G’Morning & Happy December 27th 🙂 Hoping you had a beautiful Christmas with your family, friends & loved ones.
Checking in this morning from Raleigh, still here with my love at his parents house. We had a wonderful Christmas Holiday — celebrating all week with both sides of our family. Pre-Christmas family dinners + Christmas Eve in Charlotte with my family before hopping in the car midi Christmas Day to spend the rest of the holiday + celebrate his mom’s birthday yesterday. We headed into Chapel Hill for an always delicious dinner at a favorite spot of ours – Lantern. So YUM!
Enjoyed all of the yummy food, wine & treats that I look forward to every year but definitely did my best to not over indulge. I have to say I am looking forward to the having the holidays behind me and getting back to my routine of super clean eating that I’ve been away from ever since Austria. Yikes!
Sharing a few photos from our lovely Christmastime. xx
Much Love,
Christmas Eve with my family was casual and my mom did a buffet style spread rather than a sit down dinner, which just seems to work better with my niece & nephew and all the excitement of Christmas. I love that my family (and my boyfriends family) is healthy & even thru the holidays we stick to our healthy lifestyle with the exception of a few things — our Christmas cookies, would be one of those exceptions 🙂 Lots of Italian & Austrian cookies – recipes that have been in our family forever.
mmm mmm
Love the return of my mom’s Pâté every Christmas
