Hello, Hello! Hope everyone had a happy Saturday! Sorry its been a few days since I’ve posted… Have had a super busy week and felt pressed for time all week!

Day started with this warm & cozy pre-yoga brekkie at Whole Foods – coffee & oatmeal w/ mixed berry compote + a side of Cinnamon Apples. Delish!!

Next, off to yoga…decided to change it up a bit this Saturday and show some love to Laughing Buddha rather than taking the 915 class at Y2. (like I do every other Saturday of my life) This was the best idea! Hour & half combo of yoga + strength. Nice flow to start the class followed by burpee’s, squats, jumping jacks, surrenders, push ups, etc…killer workout, something different, super sweaty & felt amazing afterwards!

Headed home to shower up and then spend some quality time with my family – especially my sister, niece & nephew. Haven’t seen them in a month and missed them to pieces! Had a sweet, Christmassy kinda day….shopping, baking, toe painting & decorated the family Christmas tree!

Almond Horn Cookies

Cutest little nuggets! Making time to paint my little Sydney Bug’s toe nails was a must. She decided on this glittery pink & red combo. Very festive,  don’t ya think!?
Toe nail painting conversation went a little like this….

SB: What’s that Stuff Aunt Lauren? (as I’m filing her nails)
LS: Oh that’s just the dust from the nail file bug…
SB: Its Fairy Dust
LS: Oh I never knew that baby
SB: I sprinkled fairy dust on me one time and it made me fly!!

She continued on to tell me that she was home alone (which absolutely is not true) and only her cat witnessed this flight.. yep. Doesn’t get much better than that…precious moments.

Bath & Body Works

A trip over to Bath & Body Works to take advantage of the ridiculous sale that was going on. Buy 3, Get 3 Free. Mix & Match. Anything in the entire store. Today Only! I stocked up on two of my obsessions – lip gloss & candles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

After smelling every candle in the store (not kidding) I decided on these two scents – Vanilla Cedarwood & Lavender Vanilla.

C.O. Bigelow Apothecary

C.O. Bigelow Lip Gloss – LOVE these glosses and love their products. Around since 1838, they pride themselves on being the “Oldest Apothecary In America”. They have an awesome store in Greenwich Village that gives you that old-timey feeling. Definitely worth checking it out if you’ve never been.

Threw together this delicious salad late afternoon.
– Gala Apple, Cucumber, Raw Pepitas, Tomato, Onion, Avocado & Goat Cheese on a bed of Baby Spinach.
– Dressing: Olive Oil, Lemon Juice & Pepper.
