CLT Eats | Date Night @ Passion8

After much contemplation & rambling thru a list of some of our favorite spots to eat, my bf & I decided on Passion8 for Thursday date night! We have been once before with a group of friends and had an all around great experience — great food, wine & service. My second experience…eh, not so much. Although not exactly the best time to go out to eat, in my opinion, I went with a couple girlfriends during restaurant week and we actually closed out our tab after one drink + app and left.
Any way, our meal last night was just as the first — delicious, beautiful presentation, great service, super yum handcrafted cocktails + added bonus, dimmers! My boyfriend and I are kinda into lighting and the addition of dimmers to adjust the lighting made all the difference in the world, creating a much nicer, ambient atmosphere.

A couple FYI’s…
Passion8 is pretty pricey but in my opinion worth it. Their food really is incredible, cooked with local ingredients, supporting our awesome CLT community. Their menu is definitely health-forward, which I adore, serving delectable dishes that are actually good for you! There’s nothing worse than that uncomfortable feeling of being over-stuffed or foods that are drowning in sauces to the point where you can’t actually taste the natural flavor of the food that your eating — you won’t find that here! Also, each dish is beautifully presented and thoughtfully created so be prepared to enjoy a leisurely meal…as a meal with friends/family should be.

If you haven’t checked out this fab Charlotte spot, I highly recommend stopping in! xx
