Last Sunday, Adam and I drove to Lincolnton {of all places} to mix things up and get out of Charlotte to shoot some fresh content for The Blog. We started in downtown Lincolnton for the first two outfits and, as we drove around to find a spot to shoot this last outfit, before we knew it…we were out in the middle of the country. at golden hour. with no one around. Pretty amazing…
Me & Adam are quite taken with that gorgeous golden light you get just before the sun dips below the horizon – its the most magical time of day. And, as much as I love the city, there’s just something about the countryside that pulls at my heartstrings.
We drove all along the winding roads, finally landing at this spot to catch the last of the light.
Aside from shooting some beautiful shots, I wanted to share a second way to style this Grid Print Tie Top that I shared in this post. The first outfit is something I would wear out to lunch or running errands. This outfit, is perfect for a girls night out or date night with my love! Or ya know, hanging out in the middle of the road in the middle of nowhere! {ha!}
My black strappy heels are Vince Camuto & from last S/S. I’ve linked the same exact pair, except for the heel is a block heel & not a stiletto. {this is probably more comfortable, any way! haha} I’ve also linked a higher end pair if you happen to be looking to invest in a fabulous black strappy heel. And last, I’ve linked an almost identical heel, but, with a kitten heel – if super high heels aren’t your thing! 😉 My Antik Batik Clutch is super old and still a favorite to carry! I’ve linked a fun one below that happens to be on sale!
Much Love,
