Cozy Cardigan

While we have been enjoying the loveliest, temperate fall here in Charlotte, we are beginning to feel that inevitable chill in the air, and dipping into the low 30’s for this first time this weekend -eek, you guys, that’s too cold for my liking! Enter all the blanket scarves, sweaters & cozy cardigans! Basically anything below 50 and I’m freezing! Any one else?!

You guys know I am all about comfort and once the weather tuns cold I am all about looking/feeling cute, cozy & warm – emphasis on that warm part! A cozy cardigan like this Ryder Cardigan from Madewell checks all the boxes ( also available in black, brown-bear-brown & navy – I totally want them all. ) The longer length of this cardigan paired with skinnies + pointed toe booties = instant casual chic.

I have been loving some bandana’s since the summer and find myself tying one on more & more lately – they are such a fun way to give a simple outfit that little touch of je ne sais quoi. I was super hesitant to try out the bandana trend, thinking I couldn’t pull it off or style it properly but that seriously was the silliest notion! This red bandana from you guessed it – Madewell, is my current favorite! So can we talk about these booties for a sec!? They are Sam Edelman, whom I had the pleasure of meeting about a month ago for an event at Belk at South Park Mall here in Charlotte. The man himself couldn’t have nicer as well as his whole team. I’ve been rocking my Rag & Bone suede booties for going on 3 seasons and it was about time for a new pair. Also, my R&B booties were in a much lighter color and when I saw this pair, in a rich brown..I was in love!
