When it comes to my skin care routine, the simpler the better.
Obsessed with skin & body care products, I’ve definitely tried my share of products throughout the years, however, I have a handful of brands & products that I always come back to, love and trust on my sensitive skin.
Dr. Hauschka is no doubt one of those skin care loves of mine. Its no wonder I’ve grown to become such a Dr. Hauschka devotee. I grew up seeing & smelling these beautiful skin care products as one of my aunt’s is a facialist & esthetician and got nearly every woman in our family hooked on this incredible, skin-nurturing line of products way back when. Like all little girls do, I remember sneaking into my parents bathroom, sitting in the sink and using my moms beauty products – face creams, make up, mascara – so fun!
My Top 3 Dr. Hauschka Moisturizers:
♡ Quince Day Cream:
you might be wondering why I have & use 2 days creams…
I can’t tell you how much I LOVE this Quince Day Cream. It feels ahhh-mazing every single time I smear this all over my face & neck. With that being said, while it is a fairly lightweight moisturizer, it is thicker than the Revitalizing Day Cream. This may be just an LSism, but some face creams just don’t work as nicely when applying make up afterwards. There’s something about the Quince Day Cream that doesn’t allow my powders – bronzer and/or blush – to glide on smoothly. Rather, it looks a bit thick and makes my brush hairs stick to my face. uhmm…Not exactly the look I’m going for! lol I use my Quince Day Cream on those days where I’m running around or going to work completely fresh faced.
♡ Revitalizing Day Cream:
I love this day cream just as much as the Quince but for different reasons. More of a fluid, the Revitalizing Day Cream is quickly absorbed into my skin and makes for the perfect base underneath my powders. I swear my bronzer goes on so smooth + my face glows and I feel like I had my makeup professionally done. Its pretty amazing.
♡ Daily Hydrating Eye Cream:
I just started using an eye cream within the last few years and this Dr. Hauschka eye cream has become a favorite of mine. Typically I only apply right before bed, but occasionally, I’ll use this lightweight eye cream during the day if I feel like I might be needing a little extra love & moisture around my eyes. (aka…I look tired) The skin around our eyes is much thinner & delicate. Keeping this precious skin hydrated is essential when it comes to anti-aging and preventing fine line & wrinkles.
Side Note: Sunglasses… a must! Protect your eyes & prevent squinting. My eyes are so used to sunglasses you’ll even catch me wearing them on cloudy/rainy days.
