Hi friends! Happy Wednesday. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family + loved ones and you’re week is going well!
If you didn’t catch it on IG, I was recently out West in Palm Springs for a long, bachelorette weekend celebrating my girl Heather. We were a group of 8 girls and had such a blast chilling at our amazing house, soaking up some sun + eating & drinking our way through the weekend at all the yummy spots in town. We also stayed active with a couple civilized hikes on Friday & Saturday. We took the drive out to Joshua Tree on Friday morning {about an hour & 15 minutes each way and totally worth the drive} and took the tram up to Mount San Jacinto State Park on Saturday. This was my second time in Palm Springs and I loved it even more this time around. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend adding it to your list! There’s so much to do & see, great restaurants and you’ll have no problem finding an awesome house to rent or stay at one of the hip hotels in the area.
TRAVEL OUTFITS
Athleisure for the win. Lol I wore leggings for both flights out west + back home to CLT. Leggings for long travel days are a must for me. I just can’t get into jeans for sitting on a plane all day.

JOSHUA TREE
Not really dressed for a hike, but we looked cute! haha We drove into the park quite a ways, picked a spot on the map, hiked up about a mile, took in some views and turned around to head back down.

SAN JACINTO
The tram for Mount San Jacinto State Park takes you up over 8500 FT. Needless to say, its pretty chilly up there. I way overpacked for the trip but somehow managed to still forget a proper jacket. lol I borrowed the denim oversized shirt / shacket from Heather to have an extra layer while we were up there. Linking the exact one from Zara here + this option here is super cute, too.

DINNER LOOKS
We stayed in our first night. We wanted to just chill out & enjoy the house since we had a long travel day. We munched on chips, guac & salsa + made tacos & margs – it was the perfect way to kick off the weekend. Most of us were up before 5am to catch our 7:30am flight + the time difference made for a really long day. We were struggling to stay up past 8pm. haha We did dinner + a couple clubs Friday night and just dinner on Saturday before heading home Sunday morning. Kept it more casual in jeans, booties + bodysuit on Friday night and we all got a little more dressed up for dinner on Saturday night.

wearing a Size 4 in the dress. I find Alice + Olivia to run a bit small. The 4 fits perfect.

POOLSIDE
I bought this black bikini from A&F and another one from ONE Swimwear but I wound up just wearing this black one the whole weekend. We actually didn’t spend as much time by the pool as we thought we would because we stayed so busy in the morning / early afternoon and it gets dark SO early out West this time of year. By 3:30pm, the sun is already so low and by 4:30pm its dark. This suit is so cute, well made and just a good, classic black suit. I’m wearing a small in the bottom, large in the top. Heather got all the girls these adorable heart sunglasses — we wore black and heather wore white ones!
