Happy Friday, Happy October, loves!

Hope you had the best week! Today’s post is coming to you all the way from warm & sunny Palm Springs!! Adam and I flew out on Tuesday for the week to celebrate my {35th} birthday! Thoughts on how I’m feeling about this milestone birthday in another post….

While I’m beyond happy to be here soaking up all the sun I possibly can for the week, I’m hoping by the time I arrive back home to Charlotte, I’ll be feeling all the glorious fall feels.  {here I go again talking about the weather} but to my defense, I think the biggest topic of conversation running around social media is how warm it still is around the county and all us blogger gals {and not blogger gals} are asking for is a little autumn in the air so we can finally dress in fall clothing for more than just the ‘gram. And just be able to be outside and enjoy the day without sweating. {haha}

I am LOVING this 3 piece fall uniform, if you will. You guys know I pretty much can’t turn down a good button down. {I actually just picked up THEE cutest plaid button down from Madewell on Monday that I cannot wait to style, shoot & share with you!} I purchased this Rails checked button down from Luna in South Park as well as this super cute & cozy duster sweater vest. It is the perfect layer to throw on right now – not too warm and adds a little something extra to this otherwise simple ootd. I opted for my favorite ankle strap nude heels {100 bucks, go with everything + the block heel makes them super comfortable} but will definitely repeat this outfit with booties as the temps drop. Another fun piece to add to this look would be a floppy hat – so cute & chic!

Any favorite pieces you can’t wait to wear this season!?

Have the best weekend!!
