Hello Hello. Happy Saturday afternoon loves. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!Sorry I haven’t updated the blog in a couple of days, I’ve barely cracked open my laptop let alone do any blogging.
Catching up from Friday and early this morning…I drove up to my sisters house to have a sleep over with her & the littles, woke up this morning to catch my Sydney Bug’s soccer game and then headed back down to CLT to catch a super hot & sweaty yoga class at Yoga One.

So my sister lives up North by Lake Norman. She took me over to try out The Meeting Room at Port City Club. The last time I was here was years! ago, and it was actually a different restaurant. They totally revamped the place and it is going to be a kick ass spot on the lake this year. The restaurant is massive – both inside & out. We sat on the covered patio that opens up completely to the lake & marina. In addition to all the covered outdoor tables/seating, they turned the outside beach (yes, there’s sand and all) area into a really fun outdoor spot that will no doubt turn into a “beach club” type scene after long days on the lake this summer – outdoor couches, fire pits and lounges…fun. Dinner was delicious! They had so many yummy apps to choose from that we decided to turn our dinner into an app party and have salads as our entrée.
