February Favorites

Hi Loves! Happy last day of February! Hope its been a great month for everyone! Personally, I am happy to see this month go and move on from the cold & dry, winter weather… I am so over feeling cold when I walk outside, getting in a cold car, etc… hate it! ugh

So! a quick little post to share a few favorite things I’ve been loving over here lately! Hope everyone had an awesome start to this brand new week and cheers to a very happy, healthy month of March…with Spring x warm weather upon us, I have a feeling its going to be a good one! Wee

SMOOTHIE BOWLS
Although its been cold, I still found myself making smoothie bowls on the daily – whether it be for breakfast or a post-workout snack — they are just so delicious and crave my crazy sweet tooth! (Haha) I also feel like I have finally, finally gotten the not-so-scientific science of making these babies down without killing my poor blender! haha

A COUPLE TIPS IF YOUR INTO MAKING SMOOTHIE BOWLS OR WOULD LIKE TO GET STARTED:

BANANA SLICES
before freezing, slice those bananas up! I used to just cut them in half, toss them in their bag & into the freezer they went. Slices are the way to go, guys! They will blend/break up much easier when its time to go in the blender. I started doing this a while back and it makes a huge difference!
LIQUID FIRST!
I’ve made it a point to add my almond milk first thing and it really helps the blender to not get stuck on all the frozen fruit.
WORK IN BATCHES
Too much frozen fruit just doesn’t work — it doesn’t matter how amazing your blender is! I’ve been just slowly adding depending on much/many fruits I’m using & this has been another difference maker!

AZIZ LIGHT APOTHECARY: RESORATIVE SERUM
