Hey Hey friends!
It’s a new year so I thought it would be fun to switch things up and give my Monthly Favorites Series a new title. So here we are, the very first 2022 Edit! You can expect the same round up of my favorite fashion finds, skin & beauty products, music, movies & TV, etc… + I’m planning to share a bit more about life in general & real estate as we move through each month. I hope you guys enjoy these posts & if there’s anything you’d like for me to include, drop a comment below or shoot me an email — I would love to hear from you!
I hope the new year has been treating you well so far! xx
LIFE LATELY…
I woke up on January 1 incredibly motivated and ready to start the new year with a bang! That said, I’ve been a little hermit in full on work + workout mode and haven’t really been my usual social self. Kinda boring yet rewarding.
Speaking of boring, I also started the new year off doing Dry January. I truly felt like shit after the holidays – too much wine, gluten, sugar, dairy – really caught up with me and a little detox was in order. I made it 3 solid weeks without drinking any wine and I finally caved on Jan 22. Dad made schnitzels and I was just really feeling a glass of wine so I went for it. Then I had a couple mimosas and a glass of pinot noir over a 3 hour, late lunch with one of my best girls on Sunday. We hadn’t seen each other in over a month – I had my favorite Palm Beach Salad + a side of fries at Bricktops and we just caught up on everything going on in our lives. Dad’s 70th birthday was January 28th and the plan was always to wrap up Dry January a few days early to celebrate this milestone birthday for my dad! All in all, I drank 5 days out of the entire month and I’m happy with that.

I’ve been back to my normal clean eating and I feel like my body is back to it’s pre-holiday self — healthy & energetic, not bloated and I gotta say, no drinking really does make your skin G L O W.
Around mid month, I took a last minute drive with a girlfriend up to the mountains and went snowboarding for the first time in YEARS! My friend Tracey is a great skier and I felt like I needed a little refresher on the board so I took a lesson and we just had the best day. It was so fun to take a little day trip, do something different and spend the entire afternoon outside taking in the fresh mountain air. Ahhh Planning to head back up in February and I can’t wait!
The biggest & best news of the month is that my braces are off – FINALLY!! omgggg, you have no idea how happy I am about this. The entire process was quite the journey and to say I’m glad its over would be the understatement of my life! I’ll be writing a blog post about my treatment, but for now I’m happy to report that they are off. lol
FIT + WELLNESS
I was feeling really burnt out from working out super hard all last year. I really chilled out the first 7-10 days of the month. I’ve been sitting in the sauna at least 1x a week, I’ve gone to yoga a few times and have been walking more than anything + lifting for upper body & core work at least 2x a week. I just started incorporating some running and leg work again towards the end of the month. I can’t stress enough how important it is to listen to your body, especially during the colder months of the year. I believe in slowing down during winter – more gentle movement + warm, nourishing foods.

REALTOR LIFE.
The year has started off strong. If it weren’t for the market already being absolutely NUTS we would have had 3 contracts for the month of January. I’ve been working super hard to get one of our buyers under contract. I’ve submitted 3 offers for her…we wound up withdrawing her first offer because I advised her not to go over list price on that particular property. The other 2 offers were rejected in multiples.
WATCHING.
HOUSE OF GUCCI.
This didn’t get the best reviews online but I really enjoyed the film. I was not familiar with the Gucci family story so the whole story took me by surprise. Lady Gaga does a great job in the role and so does Adam Driver. I personally loved it and think it’s worth the watch.
THIS IS US.
Watching the final season of This Is Us and I feel like it’s off to a slow start. Anyone else? I feel like there is SO much that still needs to unfold before the show is over. We shall see…
MY UNORTHODOX LIFE.
I recently came across this reality show on Netflix and I am hooked! lol I had no idea that Orthodox Judaism was SO extreme. Learning about the culture and it’s customs is quite shocking. I knew about some of the practices but not to the extent that I’ve learned since watching the show. On another note, I think Julia Haart is amazing — such a strong, powerhouse woman. Having the strength & courage to leave her past situation + what she’s accomplished in such a short period of time is so inspiring. And I love Robert, OMG. I want to hang out with him. lol
THE BACHELOR.
Every once in a while, I’ll get into a season of the bachelor/bachelorette and I I’ve gotten sucked into Clayton’s season. lol He seems super sweet & genuine. Per usual, there’s some crazy bitches this season. haha It’s good mindless entertainment.
CHEER.
I loved Season 1 of Cheer and enjoyed Season 2 just as much. Competitive Cheer is one hell of a sport. I love how they really show everything that goes into their practice & prep for the competition at the end of their season. Still in shock over the news with Jerry. So sad to find that out about him. :/
I AM GEORGINA.
I started watching this documentary on Netflix about Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina. She seems so genuine and humble, they both do, and I just love how family is so important to them.
LISTENING + READING.
FEELS LIKE HOME. This is the second coffee table book I have from Lauren Liess and I love it just as much. I am so into her home decor vibe and she offers some really good tips & tricks while sharing some really gorgeous interiors. Linking the other book, Down To Earth, below.
Still loving the Inflammation Spectrum from Dr. Will Cole that I shared in my last post. I am not doing the elimination diet that the book suggests, however, I am really enjoying the recipes he shares in the book.
WEARING.
OMG, January has been a super cold month! It’s snowed 3x, which is kind of crazy for Charlotte. That said, there’s been lots of cozy, layered up outfits. I don’t really like freezing cold weather but I do like breaking out all my extra warm & cozy clothes. lol
Sharing some snaps of outfits and linking my most worn pieces – linking exact products if available or similar pieces for you guys below.

USING.
HAIR, SKIN, BEAUTY & SUPPLEMENTS.
EMPTIES.
Weleda Baby Calendula Nourishing Face Cream. Used up the rest of this ultra hydrating cream. A little goes a long way with this rich cream and it totally helped nourish my dry winter skin.
Mila Moursi Cleansing Milk. I have used this cream cleanser a couple times a week for several months. I keep it in the shower and typically use it after a morning workout, I don’t have any makeup on and I’m just needing a gentle cleansing.
DERMALOGICA SPECIAL CLEANSING GEL. This has been my go-to cleanser for about 10 years. I love gel cleansers and this one is gentle enough for my dry, sensitive skin. I just ran out and need to order another bottle.
ORGAID ORGANIC FACE OIL. I was gifted this oil many months ago and I just ran out. I absolutely loved this ultra hydrating face oil with squalene & amaranth. The directions recommend AM & PM but I only used this as a nighttime oil. Highly recommend. I also love all of the Orgaid Sheet Masks — so good when you need a boost of hydration.
I finally pulled the trigger and purchased the facial reflexology tool & Seabuckthorne Oil Cleanser from NOY Skincare by Danna Omari. I absolutely LOVE Danna. She is such a natural beauty & love that she shares so much of her knowledge with her IG community. I’m still getting the hang of using both products but enjoying them so far.
AROUND THE HOUSE…

WAKE UP WITH A PURPOSE ART PRINT.
I purchased this quote print from Urban Outfitters and I have it hanging in my bathroom. It’s sounds silly, but I love that it’s the first thing I see in the morning and it totally motivates me. I ordered mine with the white matte frame.
P.F. TEAKWOOD & TOBACCO CANDLE.
This has been a favorite of mine for years. I have a cabinet full of candles and this has been the candle of the month. lol I can’t get enough of the scent.
