Hi friends. Happy 4th of July! I’m currently holed up at home recovering from Covid. yay. LOL
I started feeling sick Thursday night and by Friday morning I woke up with the worst body aches, head congestion + the sweats. I tested positive for The C on Saturday afternoon and just started feeling better today. I had so many fun plans for the holiday weekend and instead, I’ve been stuck in my house for the last 4 days. Needless to say, I hope you’re holiday weekend is way more fun & eventful than mine! ha
LIFE LATELY….
June was full of all the fun summer things – pool days with friends & fam, rosé {all day}, girl time, lots of tennis & workouts, a fun Father’s Day (tennis with dad, pool + grilled out) and the most exciting part of June was that after 19 months of being single….I met some one. Eek!
I was hesitant to mention anything because it’s super new, but things are going really great, he is really great, and I’m super happy. So…I figured, why not!? I haven’t dated since I ended my relationship in November 2020. I never got on a dating app because I really just couldn’t wrap my head around the whole online dating thing. I’m super old fashioned and this whole time, I’ve always wanted to just meet someone organically or through friends. I also am not one to jump from one relationship into another and have really enjoyed being single and having this time to focus on myself after being in a relationship for 8 years. Funny enough, I spent about 18 months being single after I got out of a long relationship in my late twenties and I can’t say enough good things about giving yourself the time to heal in between and just be with yourself. I don’t want to say I was giving up hope, but at the same time I couldn’t help but feel like meeting someone without getting on a dating app was nearly impossible. Then boom…this amazing man comes into my life. Reminder to anyone who needs to hear it, you’ll meet someone when you least expect it. Any way, that’s all I’m going to share for now. Like I said… it’s super new, but I’m excited & hopeful.
Keep the faith, never settle and there are still good ones out there. ;)

I was invited to check out Spavia, a new Day Spa in Strawberry Hill. I got a 60 minute Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage and it was ahhhmazing. My massage therapist was Kiera and she was awesome. They have a cute product + gift shop up front and the lounge area is so peaceful & relaxing. But the most important part is that my massage was really good! I will definitely be going back.
WATCHING.
Due to the above news, I barely watched any TV or movies last month. LOL
I did watch Top Gun, though. I’ve only seen bits & pieces of the original and finally watched the whole movie. Now I can go see the new Top Gun Maverick with my friends. haha

WEARING + WHAT I BOUGHT.
The only things I bought last month were an Adidas hat from Urban Outfitters in a super cute mustard color (sadly sold out) + 2 visors from Free People – I got the black and white one. I cannot wear a hat when I play tennis because I get way overheated. I love these visors – they are super cute & comfy and adjustable which is essential for me because I have the smallest head ever. haha
Everything else are summer favorites that I love & wear on a daily/weekly basis!

I am absolutely loving the two new Indie Lee products I purchased last month. The Restorative Eye Cream is super creamy & hydrating. I mainly use it at night but I’ve used it during the day a few times as well. The Stem Cell Serum contains hyaluronic acid and leaves my skin looking/feeling super smooth & hydrated.
I am really loving my Women’s Multi from New Chapter. I’m a little more than half way through the bottle and I will definitely be repurchasing.
Still using & loving my Vegamour GRO Hair Products and my hair is getting crazy thick!

I really needed a new doormat and found this cute & simple one at World Market. Also, picked up some new candlesticks + a new Voluspa Japonica Jar Candle from Anthro (currently 30% off) – the red & the gold are my all times favorites, went with the red this time.
