Meatless Monday.

I adopted a Meatless Day of the Week quite a while ago and this week it just so happened to fall on Monday. Still feeling crazy sore from yoga fusion on Saturday morning plus feeling like I might be coming down with something. Yesterday was perfect for a day of lighter, cleansing, raw foods sans meat. 

My Meatless Monday looked like this…

I woke up and drank warm water + 2 tblspns ACV (apple cider vinegar),
coffee and this breakfast.
Goat Yogurt & Probiotic mixed in + chia seeds, cacao nibs, cinnamon & raspberries

leftover salad from Sunday night + tossed in a few raw almonds & organic baby carrots to take with me for lunch + an apple.

late afternoon snack of arugula + 1/4 Avocado + Hard boiled egg with just a teaspoon of Avo Oil & Pepper on the the greens. Ate my apple and handful of raw, unsalted almonds about 15 minutes after. 

last minute decision to eat at Luna’s for dinner and really not feeling well by the end of the day, I decided to drink down The Protector (lemon, cayenne & ginger) before we even sat down. 
I sipped on a Lemongrass Hot Tea while we ate our Pad Thai & Salad. 

Moving with the tone of the day, yesterdays workout was light as well. I power walked for 20 minutes before taking a 60 min Power Pilates class at the YMCA and stayed a few minutes after to stretch out my limbs. 
After a good nights sleep I woke up feeling great today 🙂
