Hello Hello! Ahh…another Monday. Same old, same old over here. Had a really great day. Absolutely gorgeous & mild winter day, work was good as always + got in a kick ass workout (once I got into the groove) and always a plus, a chiro session. My neck, shoulders & traps are actually feeling pretty loose at the moment so I asked to spend some time working on my legs today. Particularly, my left side glutes, IT Band & quad. My legs (mainly left) are really starting to tighten up on me again and I’m trying to stay on top of it before it effects my training. I have some really yummy meals to share with you guys today for some healthy eating inspiration + a video of today’s abs circuit I did along with my cardio this afternoon.
So I winded up having an awsome workout, but it took me a good 30 minutes to really get into it today. My entire body was still feeling pretty pooped from my Thurs-Saturday workouts. Legs were feeling super heavy at first but then my I-love-to-workout, this-makes-me-so-happy switch turned on and it was smooth sailing.
Monday Workout: 60 minutes – Cardio
– Treadmill: 20 minutes incline walking (tried to run, just wasn’t happening today)
– StairMaster: 20 minutes: Intervals: level range: 9-12: single, double, side steppin’ it
– Cybex Arc Trainer: 20 minutes: Intervals: Resistance: 20-40, Incline: 4- 16
Abs Circuit Workout
– Stability Ball Pike-Ups: 10 x 3
– Side Plank Hip Raises: 10 x 3
– V-Ups: 10 x 3
Breakfast Oatmeal:Goji Berries | Banana | Pecans | Coconut Oil & Cinnamon
Quinoa Bowl for Lunch:
2 Eggs, Wilted Arugala, Tomato & Pine Nuts with Jalepeno Verde Salsa. YumYums.
Late Afternoon Green Smoothie
Hearty Lentil Soup for Dinner Lentils | Carrots | Spinach | Potatoes
