your heart isn't made to settle... you must choose the greatest love, and you have to chase the greatest life - butterflies rising wild spirit, soft heart
Hi friends. Happy April! I’m back with another Monthly Favorites post, sharing everything I used/bought/loved/wore throughout the month of March. I hope you guys are enjoying these posts thus far!
How was your Easter weekend? I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend with their loved ones. We had the most gorgeous weather here in Charlotte — I am soaking up every moment of the soft, springtime sun and already dreading the summer heat + humidity.
Can you believe we are already 4 months into 2021!? March seemed to go by slowly, which is totally fine with me. I think we can all use a little bit of time slowing down, right?
Wishing everyone a great week & a great month ahead!! xx
READING.
PACIFIC NATURAL. Loving this book from Jenni Kayne offering simple, seasonal inspiration for entertaining, home decor + tips for conscious living. I have followed Jenni Kayne for quite a while and have fallen in love with the overall, laid back luxe aesthetic of the brand. If you’re not already following along on IG, you can do so here.
AD 100. I finally got my hands on a copy of 100th Anniversary table top book from Architectural Digest. I just love the collection of interiors within this book…so much dreamy decor inspo. The price fluctuates on Amazon based on availability — do not pay a ridiculous price for this book! The normal cost is between $90-$100.
You can also try to get your hands on a copy here.
PRETTY CITY NEW YORK. NYC is one of my favorite cities so I decided to order this beautiful picture book from the Pretty Cities Series, rounding up some of the “best of the best” all over New York City. It also gives tips for taking better photos and the best “Instagrammable” spots.
*still enjoying and spending time, daily, with all the poetry & affirmation books I shared in my previous Monthly Favorites entry.
WATCHING.
SHITT’S CREEK.
After hearing so many people, friends & family, rave about Shitt’s Creek, I finalllllly started the show and I’ve basically been bing watching it for the last few weeks! I just started Season 6 and the show just gets better & better as the seasons go on. I literally LOL watching.
LISTENING.
WEARING.
LEVIS WEDGIE DENIM. Still wearing this pair of jeans on repeat.
WHITE TEE’s & TANKS. Now that the temps are warming up, I find myself reaching for my favorite staple. I’ve always loved the simplicity of a white top with a great pair of denim, cute shoes and gold accessories. I spent a few days at the beach, at the very end of the month and it felt SO good to be by the ocean. I pulled out my denim cut off’s and slipped my toe’s into a pair of sandals for the first time this year. Ahh, It’s the little things, isn’t it?
TIE DYE SWEATSHIRT. I’m still obsessed with this cozy, oversized pullover from last season from Urban Outfitters.

linking a few of my go-to white tee’s & tanks, denim cut off’s & sandals below….
USING.
HAIR, BEAUTY + SKIN CARE
HAIR BOTOX. not a product I’m using, rather a treatment I had done on March 1 to combat frizz & relax my curls. It’s been exactly 5 weeks and I am so in love with the results! I shared a little bit about the treatment with Crystle {@vainandluxe} at Copper Willow Salon in this IG post but I’ll be writing a full blog post about it soon — so stay tuned!
SUMMER FRIDAY’S CC ME SERUM. my third bottle of this serum and I can’t sing it’s praises enough! I took a break from using this serum throughout most of the winter, but bought a new bottle about 3 weeks ago now that I’m going to be in the sun more and this Vit C serum helps with sun spots, hyperpigmentation and an even complexion — all needed during the warmer months of the year!
SUMMER FRIDAY’S CLOUD DEW MOISTURIZER. first time purchasing this moisturizer and I absolutely love it. The name is fitting, as this gel cream feels as light as a cloud but doesn’t lack on moisture & hydration for your skin. A new favorite in my daytime skin care routine, no doubt.
PAI – BACK TO LIFE SERUM. another new addition to my skin care routine and loving it as well. This hydrating serum has Jojoba & Hyaluronic Acid in it. I layer it on top of my CC Me Serum.
ILIA LIP WRAP HYDRATING MASK. I was gifted this lip mask a couple weeks ago, have been using it every night before bed and love how it leaves my lips soft, plump & hydrated upon waking up in the AM.
INDIE LEE BRIGHTENING CLEANSER. I ran out of my Dermalogica Gel Cleanser and decided to switch things up and go back to another favorite from Indie Lee. You really can’t go wrong with any of her cleansers — I’ve used & loved them all!
AROUND THE HOUSE
GET OPEN SPACES – WIRE BASKETS + SHELF RISERS. I ordered these a while back in February and totally forgot to include them in my last round up! I have been using the wire baskets as a catch all and the shelf risers as mini tables – for snacks + my laptop when I’m lounging on the couch. Both the baskets & the shelfs come in a set of 2.
GOLD CANDLE HOLDER. I ordered these simple & classic candle holders in small, med & large from McGee & Co. I love the staggered look of the candlesticks created by the different sizes/height of the holders.
WOVEN TRAY WITH LEATHER HANDLES. I ordered this adorable 3 compartment woven tray from the Magnolia Collection at Target to set on top of my toilet — such a cute way to display a box of tissues, body lotion, pretty bars of soap, dry brush and Q-tips + cotton rounds.
