Hello loves.
Hoping everyone’s October is off to a fabulous start!
Mine has been exhilarating to say the least! 2 last minute, whirlwind trips to NYC + celebrating my birthday on the 3rd. I flew up to the city last Tuesday night, back home on a 5pm Wednesday only to head right back again on a 10pm flight Thursday night which winded up being delayed until after midnight. Finally touched down at JFK and so happy to get in bed at 230am. yikes. All good tho, as I was one happy girl to open my eyes to the most gorgeous fall day, in my fave city, on my birthday!
The weather in the city on Wednesday was just nasty…chilly, rainy and windy. This didn’t stop me from walking all over, passing thru Washington Square and doing some coffee-shop-hopping. Friday, was completely opposite and couldn’t have been a more spectacular weather day. The sky was so crystal clear, super sunny and that crisp, fall feeling was in the air. 🙂
Sharing some photos from my fun filled trip…xx

Super cute coffee shop, not the best coffee.
This gooey bar, made just over the bridge Brooklyn was so good..
one of my fave buildings in the city….the one with the Golden Roof 🙂
Love seeing this every time I walk up the block from my gf’s apartment
Freedom Tower peeking thru the buildings in the FiDi
just so happened to have a good friend of mine in the city all week for work…he had the brilliant idea to take me for a birthday lunch in Brooklyn at the Wythe Hotel before hopping on our flights and heading back to CLT…
Loved the Wythe rooftop. Pretty rad view..
One side = Brooklyn view, the other = Manhattan.
Lunch at the Reynard, inside the Wythe Hotel
