On our first afternoon in Palm Springs, we had a late lunch at FARM. I can’t tell you how darling this place was! French Farmhouse Chic {swoon}. We sat on the patio, noshed on salads and sipped on the most delicious cocktails as the breeze blew bougainvillea blooms all around.
Sandfish Sushi & Whiskey – officially on the list of best sushi spots we’ve ever eaten at. We LOVED this place – the simple Scandinavian design, the food, the staff – sushi lovers, this place will not disappoint!
While driving around the desert in search of a Date Farm we had googled {then half way there we realized it wasn’t open yet and they were still harvesting} we stumbled across Mariscal Cactus & Succulent Nursery. I was in Cactus Heaven! We purchased the coolest cathedral cactus + a few small succulents to give to our friend Will, who’s house we stayed at.
On the plane out to Palm Springs, I sat next to the sweetest couple who happen to be from Palm Springs. They were telling me things to do and one of the top to-do’s was to take the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. We rode the gondola up over 8k feet to the most gorgeous views and hiking trails in the San Jacinto Mountains.
lunch & mimosas at Parker Palm Springs. Would totally love to stay at this totally chic & cool hotel next time I’m out in Palm Springs!
after dinner cocktails at Seymour’s, inside Mr. Lyons
pool time with my love bug
we took full advantage having a pool in the backyard and spent so much time just lounging +
enjoying the weather and each other.
the house we stayed at, which happen’s to be one of Adam’s best friends place {it’s an Airb&b} was amazing! Ahh flooded with natural light + sliding glass doors for that dreamy indoor/outdoor feeling.
Happy Monday, loves! Hope you had the best weekend! The weather was absolutely gorgeous here in Charlotte and I can fairly say that fall has officially arrived! It was actually a touch on the cold side on Sunday. As much I love fall, its only a reminder that my least favorite season, winter, is near. Adam and I were already talking about a winter getaway to escape the cold!
Speaking of getaway, I hope you enjoy my Palm Springs Photo Diary. We had such a great time out in the desert and I cannot wait to go back sometime in the near future. If you’ve never been to Palm Springs, you need to put it on your list of places to visit! I’ll be doing a Travel Guide, sharing where we stayed, ate and all that fun stuff.
Thanks for stopping in! Wishing you an amazing week! xx
