“you can’t have a bad day in polka dots”
Hi loves! Happy Wednesday! Hope your week is going well! If you didn’t catch my last post, here, I mentioned that Adam and I flew out to Palm Springs to celebrate my birthday last week. We had the best time and I can’t wait to share more photos from our trip with you all! As much time as Adam and I have spent in California, we have never been to Palm Springs. I am so glad we took the long flight over to spend my birthday week having so much fun under the desert sun!
I have been on the hunt – in stores & online – for the perfect polka dot dress and lucky me, I found “the one” just 2 days before we headed out west! There are so many pretty polka dot dresses right now, however, I really did want to get my hands on the classic white/brown polka dots à la Julia in Pretty Woman. Ahh, that movie – don’t ya just love it!?
I am so weird in the sense that I will wait and wait until I find thee perfect piece that I have been looking for and I am so glad I held out for this particular polka dot dress from Anthropologie. I love everything about this classic wrap dress.
I wore my dotted dress out to dinner at a super cool spot called Workshop. They have a great patio to dine alfresco, or sit inside at one of the booths or extra long communal table. The whole restaurant is lit with the coolest drop lights. The food was amazing, we filled our bellies with the best mussels I’ve ever had, duck fat French fries {omg} and a stuffed sea bass that was to die for! If you find yourself in Palm Springs I highly recommend doing dinner here one night – it will not disappoint.
