Hello, Hi & Happy Sunday, Loves!
Hoping everyone is enjoying their weekend! It has been a hot one here in CLT — I love warm weather, but I don’t believe I’m quite ready for 90+ as we are only in the month of May.
Saturday started bright & early…up about 545 and outta the bed at 6am to make my beloved coffee ( especially at this hour, and on a Saturday, no less!!) so I could bring my boyfriend to the airport for his flight out to LV for work for the week. I was certain I’d go home and crawl right back in the sheets, but I was actually wide awake and and naturally, I immediately checked the yoga schedule at Yoga One to see what classes were available. I doubled up with the 8am & 930 for 2+ glorious hours of super sweaty, much needed yoga! I had to opportunity to practice with 2 new-to-me instructors – Sally Gambrell (who happens to be the owner of YogaOne) & Lindsey Crisp – they were both fabulous, inspiring & empowering! I’ll be doing a separate post on my yoga-full weekend.
After yoga, I headed home, did a bit of cleaning around the house, showered and headed out to Luna’s Living Kitchen, where I camped out for quite a while bloggin’ and munchin’ on a so-yummy arugula salad & tasting smoothies that the Luna’s peeps so sweetly give you samples of if your posted up at the counter.

Back home for a bit after Luna’s before heading over to scoop up my gf, head to a birthday get-together for some work peeps and then meet a couple other girls out on the patio at Dean & Deluca. By the time we ate, it was too dark to snap a pic, but I had this really fresh & delicious Kale + Radicchio salad & added a grilled chicken breast since I didn’t have any (animal) protein all day. A couple glasses of wine + a dark chocolate turtle later, I was ready to head home and pass out after my long day.
A romper is just one of those s/s go-to’s… Wear with flats. Wear with heels. Its just such an easy-breezy, throw-on-and-go, one-piece style staple! This one is from Victoria’s Secret & probably going on 5 years old – I love it & don’t really feel the need to buy a new one. I own this cotton little number, perfect for day-time + a silk romper to kick it up a notch for night time. If your missing a simple black romper hanging in your closet….below are a few of my current, top picks! xx
Much Love,
