SNOGA – February 2015

Happy Snowy/Icy Tuesday everyone!
We got our first snow, uhmm…ice of the year yesterday that started around 4pm and continued on throughout the night.

I trained clients until 3, popped into Earth Fare to grab some stuff to cook a yummy dinner + other goodies and then headed home for a bit until we headed back out to catch a 530pm yoga class at Yoga One.

I needed this class more than I can say. It was just one of those days where I seriously needed some yoga in my life. I was in a weirdo, moody, mood from what I’m gathering was a combination of the shit weather/I’m SO over winter/my boyfriend is getting ready to leave again and travel for work starting Thursday morning until the end of April with a brief stop back home in early March. I think subconsciously, I was reacting to all of this and just not feeling like myself.

I was so beyond happy to get out of the cold weather + out of my layers on layers on layers and just get into the warm yoga studio + on my mat. I practiced with my eyes closed almost the whole class – flowing thru the poses, moving, breathing, sweating – all with my love by my side. <3 Class was exactly what I needed – the perfect pace & incredibly calming. I left a de-stressed, happy being —  ahhhh 🙂

The rest of the night was spent hanging out, listening to music, drinking wine, cooking dinner and then a midnight adventure out into the empty, icy streets of Charlotte..just because! Its always a crazy/weird/awesome/fun feeling to be out & about somewhere when no one is around & all is quiet in place that is otherwise buzzing.

Hope everyone is staying warm & safe today wherever you are! xx

Much Love,
