This Strawberry-Banana Smoothie Bowl is naturally sweet, super satisfying & packed with nutrients, anti-oxidants, fiber, omega-3’s & plant based protein provided by the chia seed superfood topping. I made this bowl of frozen goodness for my babe and I just this past Saturday morning as a yummy way to start the day + give us plenty of energy for an awesome Sweat Sesh!
Strawberry Banana Superfood Smoothie Bowl
INGREDIENTS
organic frozen strawberries. 1.5 cups
frozen banana. 2
almond breeze, unsweetened vanilla almond milk. 1 cup
cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon
maca powder. 1 teaspoon (optional)
(makes 1 large or 2 small)
TOPPINGS
1/2 banana
fresh organic strawberries. 2, cut in half
chia seeds. about 2 teaspoons
unsweetened coconut
Blend frozen strawberries & bananas, almond milk, cinnamon & maca powder (if using) until nice and smooth. You may have to take the lid off, give a little stir & blend again to help mix up all the frozen fruit.
Empty frozen fruity yumminess into your bowl(s), top with fresh fruit & superfoods, grab a spoon & enjoy! xx
