Summer-to-Fall Style: Striped Mock Turtleneck & White Skinny Jeans

As much as I’m wishing for cooler temps, that crisp fall feeling in the air and cozying up in sweaters and scarves… those things remain a daydream for us here in Charlotte.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely NOT wishing for {cold} weather, just…cool. Like 80. With no humidity & a lovely breeze. Yes. I’ll have that. Please. And a patio + a good glass of rosé. I will complain just as much about the [cold] as I will about the intense heat & humidity we’ve been having all summer. (never happy, lol) I always joke around and say that my ideal weather only exists in California!

So rather than complaining, I’m transitioning from summer-to-fall in pieces like this Madewell Striped Mock Turtleneck (only $42!) & adding pops of color like my favorite Suede Orange Loafers. (cute & WAY cheaper ones, here. )

This combo is everything I appreciate in an outfit all wrapped into one effortlessly fabulous look – comfortable, casual, classic, chic, and….hello, stripes!! I never met a stripe I didn’t like! (haha)
Stripes are synonymous with that effortless French Style that I’m pretty much obsessed with!

These Levi’s 701 Super Skinny Jeans are so amazing, you guys! And currently on sale for $39.99 – hello!! I’ve been meaning to get another pair in dark denim. I wear them like 2x a week ever since I got them! And I don’t intend on stopping anytime soon! Just a reminder, you CAN wear white after Labor Day! ;)
