If you guys only knew how many nights, come 1-2am, I spent hating life & agonizing over my feet & long, finger-like toes from being squished into the worst shoe ever designed – the pointy toed heel…OMG. Considering this fact, its pretty comical that I’m totally obsessing over one of the top trends for F/W ’16 – the lace-up pointed toe heel (and flat)!
This loathing for the pointed toe was back in my early 20’s, when I, for whatever reason felt the need to scrunch my feet into shoes that were too tight and probably 1/2 size too small. Anyone else?? Why?! Fast forward to my early 30s, and I’ve become much more sensible about my shoe choices – especially pumps and thank God I now know that if I’m going to do the whole pointed toe thang, I need to go up 1/2 a size to actually be comfortable.
About that sensible statement I made above…at 4 inches, this heel is probably the highest I’ve bought in a really, really long time! I’m 5’10” so I don’t necessarily need to be in a heel THIS high but, for this pump, it just works and I totally love it!
Something about this Sam Edelman Pointy Toe Pump just makes you feel so feminine, sexy & hello…long legs! I fell absolutely head over heels in love (pun intended) with these shoes! The color, the suede texture, the lace up detail, everything – love, love, love. They are absolutely my go-to pump for the season. Perfect with dresses or jeans – these shoes, in the forever versatile shade – tan – will not let you down. And they are actually comfortable, too! Seriously!
