Sharing the full version of this quote here today, I’m sure you’ve seen the short one somewhere perusing the never-ending scroll of inspirational quotes all over Instagram & Pinterest.
I just love this quote because if you take a moment to think about something, anything, that you may have a fear of in life, you can apply the beautiful words of this quote to that fear.
Years ago, I was SO afraid to try Crow Pose out of fear of falling and, ya know…smashing my nose/face. lol Over the last several years, I’ve broken both my left wrist & elbow so I’m much weaker on my left side vs the right (plus my right side is my dominant side) — because of this, I’ve always had such a fear of Crow Pose and any other arm balances. Looking back, it was such a silly thing to be afraid of. Once I REALLY WENT FOR IT, rather than just a half-in attempt, I realized I had been holding myself back for nothing!
Crow Pose is something that comes to mind and just an easy example of a fear that you may or may not have, but there are SO many instances in life where we hold ourselves back out of fear. I’ve learned over the last several years that half of the things we worry about aren’t worth our energy worrying over & so many things we are afraid of, are so silly, really!
Imagine how much you could accomplish, how happy you could be, how much love & joy you could experience, how fit & healthy you could be…if you just start now. Just TRY. Just Do It!
