Hi, friends. Happy Friday & Happy first day of May! I hope you had a good & productive week! Man, I hope this month is better than the last…
While I haven’t been too effected by the lockdown and I actually have been enjoying many things about this slower time, I know there are so many who can’t say the same and it’s about time to get America {and the world} back on it’s feet! There is light at the end of this Coivid tunnel and I was happy to hear Charlotte/Mecklenbury County announce that the plan to get our state & county reopened is underway just a couple days ago.

I have actually had this oversized black blazer from H&M in my closet for well over 2 years, but have only worn it maybe a handful of times until I pulled it out of the closet a few months ago to meet some girlfriends for dinner {when we could actually meet friends for dinner} and now this is one of my favorite looks. Isn’t it so fun to rediscover old pieces in your closet?! This happens to me {a lot}! Mainly because my closet is so small x so packed, that I literally lose clothes in there!! 😂

I also just so happened to LOVE the way this blazer looked with these particular jeans {sadly sold out, but I linked a couple others I’m loving above} from Madewell. They are super snug & skinny which I think is a great combo – super chic & polished – with the oversized fit of this blazer. Every body is different, and I see some teeny tiny, petite girls wearing oversized blazers with mom jeans & that just wouldn’t look good on me. Always wear what makes you feel the best & most confident + flatters your body type.  😘

I went with my favorite sneaks from Leather Crown but this look would be totally cute with loafers, slides & open toed, heeled mules, too!
