Happy Wednesday, loves. Hope your week is going well! Adam and I are going to see Rocketman tonight and I cannot wait! I’ve heard its SO good. Are you an Elton John fan? I grew up listening to Elton John, Billy Joel, Lionel Richie, Neil Diamond and so many other great artists with my parents – they always had music playing throughout the house. I’m such an old soul and just love when any of these oldie but goodie songs come on the radio…brings back so many good childhood memories.
Are you into the wide leg denim trend this summer? I honestly didn’t think I would care for them on me but I slipped into this pair from Citizens of Humanity and I’m officially obsessed! You wouldn’t think it, but these jeans are so slimming which makes no sense considering the wide leg style + I had to size up 2x to fit my tush into these jeans. {meh} This particular pair of CoH denim has zero stretch and is made from a premium, vintage denim. I remember when I was younger, I used to get so upset if I had to go up a size in pants but now I’m much more aware that every brand cuts their clothes very differently, so no need for hurt feelings. {lol}
I’ve rounded up my favorite pairs of wide leg denim to match any budget for you guys below. Most are high waist which pairs nicely with a copped top or tank like this Texture & Thread Tie Front Tank Top I’m wearing from Madewell – such a great summer staple!
